In honor of National Tourism Week, renowned author-lecturer C.R. Gibbs leads this tour looking at Alexandria’s African-American Heritage and the historic sites that line the Duke Street corridor. Mr. Gibbs is the author of six books and has worked with the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum, the History Channel, and Howard University. This tour is offered exclusively for National Tourism Week.

Please note: This tour is being held Saturday, May 11. It will start at 10:30 a.m. in the gazebo in the African-American Heritage Park, near Whole Foods.
