National Public Trails Day Volunteer Project at Pleasant Ridge Park

What better way to celebrate National Public Trails day than to build a trail? We need 30 - 50 volunteers to work on a new 5 mile trail at Pleasant Ridge Park in northern Greenville County. Volunteers will receive lunch, water, REI T-Shirts, and an Upstate Sorba bumper sticker. This Park Heroes project is a partnership between Upstate Sorba, Greenville Rec, REI, and the Greater Greenville Parks Foundation.

Directions for Greenville: Head north on Highway 276 - Take the Highway 25 exit and continue north past Travelers Rest - Go ten miles - Take the Highway 11 exit - Turn left on Highway 11 - Look for sign on right that says Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center / Pleasant Ridge Park
Meeting Spot in the Park: When you enter the park, stay left. Follow that road until it dead ends. We will meet in the picnic shelter at the end of that road.
What to Bring: Long Pants, Long Sleeves, Gloves, Comfortable Closed Toe Trail Shoes, Bug Spray, & Sun Screen
Lunch: Lunch and water will be provided.
