Summer Camp: Beach Week (4-6 year old)
- Family & Education
- GTM Research Reserve Environmental Education Center, Ponte Vedra Beach Florida
Did you know that pollinators are responsible for pollinating nearly one-third of every bite of food we eat?
In 2007, the U.S. Senate designated the last week in June as National Pollinator Week! The purpose of National Pollinator Week is to raise public awareness of the importance of the bees and other pollinators that are needed to produce 80 percent of our flowering plants and one third of our human food crops.
Come join the GTM Research Reserve on June 22nd for a day celebrating pollinators like bees, birds, butterflies, and bats!
Pollinator Day Agenda:
During the interim between 10:00am - 2:00pm in the Native Plant Garden families can enjoy...
