National Nanny Training Day 2013 - Michigan Edition
What is National Nanny Training Day?
National Nanny Training Day (NNTD) is an annual event that is held in multiple cities across the United States on the same day. This year nearly 40 cities expect to host a total of approximately 2000 nannies at NNTD events. Local agencies, support groups, and nannies will come together for a day of learning, networking, and support. NNTD falls on the last day of the Week of the Young Child, an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The goals of NNTD are to promote awareness of the importance of education for nannies, to encourage nanny-related businesses and organizations to become involved in providing and/or promoting quality training, to provide accessible and affordable education to all nannies, and to raise the quality of care through a well trained workforce.
National Nanny Training Day Michigan Edition
National Nanny Training Day (NNTD) Michigan Edition will be held on April 20th, 2013 at Woodside Bible Church in Farmington Hills. Please note that NNTD is not affiliated with or financially supported by any church and is paying for rental of the space.

As part of MPNA's dedication to the community, we will be supporting Bears on Patrol. Bears on Patrol is a program of the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and provides teddy bears to children in the midst of crisis in order to give them something to hold on to for comfort. We encourage all NNTD participants to bring NEW teddy bears and/or stuffed animals to be donated to this cause.
