Making the most with your speedlights and other available lighting.
This is a intermediate hands-on workshop–all camera systems welcome–bring your camera and flash!
Not long ago, if you needed to do a photo shoot involving lighting, you required cases of equipment, lots of time, and years of experience. Today, with a wireless TTL strobe system from Nikon, Canon or Olympus, you need just a modest amount of lighting equipment to accomplish the same task using a modern digital camera.
Now you can shoot like a pro.
This workshop costs $99.00 and must be paid at the time of registration.
Space is limited.
Whether it’s a single light for fill-in shadow control on a portrait, or several TTL lights to illuminate a cathedral, Jim does it all.
The results are stunning.
He will discus how the new generation of wireless ttl gear enables photographers to both take photos and make photos. In this all-day lighting seminar, he will share his methods and secrets to make the most of your small electronic flash and show how to make the controls work for you.
About the Instructors–Jim Sugar is a full-time professional northern California photographers who use small, battery-powered flashes on location for clients including National Geographic and Sutter Healthcare. He has ridden the wave from large strobe systems through TTL and now use wireless TTL.
