In a dynamic conversation with members of Cleveland clergy, Israeli photographer Natan Dvir will discuss his photographs featured in Natan Dvir: A Lens on Israel, currently on view in the Cleveland Clinic Art Exhibition Area through November 1. The panel, moderated by Rev. Amy Greene, Director of the Clinic’s Office of Spiritual Care, will explore the multi-faceted concept of “Belief”.
Immediately following the panel discussion, refreshments will be served in the Art Exhibition Area, offering an opportunity to view the artwork with the artist. The exhibition includes images from three different series: Belief, Eighteen, and Tel Avivians, in which Dvir documents religious ceremonies, political events and daily life in Israel. The artist uses his camera as a tool for examination and to break through barriers. Through this lens, Dvir explores Israel’s diversity and complexity.
