Nailing the Pitch // BUSINESS 232
Steve Schlafman, Principal, Lerer Ventures
Wednesday, June 20th from 8:00 - 9:30 pm
You’ve spent months polishing the details on your product and now it’s time to let investors know what you have been up to.
This class will teach you to put your best foot forward. As with any great presentation, you must know your audience first. Not every VC firm is the same and they don’t all agree on who’s the prettiest gal in the room. We’ll start with what VCs look for. How do you differentiate? How do you gain traction? Why is the market ripe?
Next, we’ll jump into the nuts and bolts of honing your pitch. We’ll help you find your weaknesses, nail the demo, and write a stellar deck. Turn your vision into a clearly defined story that leaves them begging for more.
Finally, we’ll define clear next steps. Get to know advisors you can turn to and specific tweaks that will make your pitch shine.
