Similar to its national predecessor, the NAACP Leadership 500 Summit, founded by NAACP Chairman Rosyln M. Brock and held annually, the NAACP Long Island Region Game Changers Leadership Summit will be a day long venue for corporate, business, academic, community, and civic leaders of all ages to participate in thought provoking, interactive discussions that provide the opportunity for the NAACP to directly engage them in its current civil rights agenda and get Long Island residents interest in participating with the NAACP and the Leadership 500 Summit in May.
Registration begins at 8 AM in the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center at Hofstra University North Campus. Registration is $20 for adults (ages 20 and over) and $5 for youths. Payment will be made upon registration at the event.
As part of the weekend of thought-provoking activities, there will be an opening and closing session at the Union Baptist Church on 24 Clinton C. Boone Place, Hempstead, NY 11550 on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 7 PM and Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 11:30 AM.
