Solace | Tchaiko Omawale (20 minutes, 2013)
Sole finds comfort in her secret binges, and one day she discovers her neighbor, the beautiful and popular Jasmine, but people are never as perfect as they seem. Watch trailer
Absence of Love | Gerald Frank (20 minutes, 2012)
Absence of Love is an intimate and taut portrait of three lives: James and Michael, on the far side of a once passionate romance, and James and Samuel, estranged brothers, coming to terms with their father’s death, a former minister of a small Atlanta parish. Billy Gerard Frank refreshes the clichés of the coming-of-age film (and family drama) with a intense story of lost – and found – love.
Dol (First Birthday) | Andrew Ahn (20 minutes, 2012)
In the past, the death rates for children were high and many children died before their first birthday, so it was an important milestone for the baby and parents. The whole village used to celebrate a baby’s first birthday, sharing food and wishing for long life and fortune for the baby. Watch trailer
