Musical Improv 201 builds on the basics covered in 101 to explore more advanced concepts such as heightening from scene to song, musical styles and long-form musical structures. We continue to develop rhyme skills and musicianship while focusing closely on the relationship between music and character. Students will discover how to set every song up for improvisational, musical and comedic success. Prerequisite is completion of Musical Improv 101 or permission of the instructor.
