Music & Yoga in the Park
Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
EXETER LIVE! Giving Music
presents the foot stomping music of
Poor Old Shine
On Sunday, August 25th, Swasey Parkway will be closed to traffic and we will be celebrating the end of summer with spirited music and yoga with a giving twist. Jonas Zev will start the evening with a yoga by the river from 5:00 - 6:00. Yoga Mats and prior experience are not required. Just be ready to feel the earth beneath your feet and connect with the nature that surrounds you.
Following yoga, Poor Old Shine will take the stage and knock your socks off with their high energy and old timey sound. They are a Roots/Americana band from rural Connecticut and have been packing the house and selling out shows with their old songs with a new feel! They come with an eclectic mix of instruments including banjos, guitars, pump organ, mandolin, string base, musical saw, washboard, and a yard-sale-scrap-metal-drum set.
Gather your friends and family, pack a picnic, spread your blanket, bring your dancing feet and soak in the sweetness of a summer evening in Exeter.
Check out their tunes here! Live From Infinity Hall
