The beautiful Vineyard Room at Robert Mondavi, opening to views of the vines and mountains, is the setting for this performance of Brahms’ monumental Piano Quintet. The Ballade of Eugene Ysaye is a virtuosic showstopper, while Clara Schumann’s Three Romances are personal and heartfelt.
The program includes Mozart: Adagio and Fugue K.546, C. Schumann: Three Romances for oboe and piano. Ysaye: Ballade for solo violin, and Brahms: Piano Quintet.
