Closing the programat Markham Vineyards is Robert Schumann’s fiery piano quintet, one of the best of the genre. Sandwiched in between are three well known bon-bons in unique arrangements for four violins.
The program includes Martinu: Serenada II for two violins and viola
Strauss: Cello Sonata, Paginini: Caprice no. 9, Pujol: Il Palermo
Monti: Csardas, and Schumann: Piano Quintet.
