Music at Gore Place Presents: Roberto Cassan and John Muratore
Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EDT)
Highly-acclaimed classical guitarist John Muratore and internationally known accordionist Roberto Cassan perform their own arrangements of classical and contemporary music, which combine the intimacy of chamber music with the spontaneity of jazz. Their repertoire, which ranges from traditional European classical to contemporary American, Latin American, tango, folk and jazz-influenced compositions, displays the diversity of their musical interests and influences.
When & Where
Gore Place, the Federal period, historic house and estate of Massachusetts Governor Christopher Gore, includes a small farm with sheep, goats and poultry. The elegantly furnished mansion has been called “the Monticello of the North” and architectural historians consider it to be the most significant Federal period mansion in New England.
