Mural Registration: 5th Annual Festival of Hope
Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Please read all of the information below carefully.
The 5th Annual Festival of Hope will take place on September 27, 2014. The event will again be held at the Tulare Outlet Center at 1407 Retherford St., Tulare, CA 93274.
Welcome to our mural artist registration page. You may register as an individual artist or as a team. There is a limited amount of space for murals. Because folks sometimes register in advance for a space but end up not being able to make it, we will allow more registrations than we actually have space for. Square availability will be based upon registration order, and then, on the day of the event, in the order of arrival. If an individual or team has registered early but arrives late, a square may not be available.
Artists are encouraged to begin arriving promptly at 9 AM on Saturday, September 27. Volunteers will be on-site preparing the mural areas before that time. (Artists are welcome to arrive before 9 AM to assist volunteers in area preparation.) Volunteers will probably not arrive until approximately 8 AM and will not likely be available to provide chalk pastels before that time.
This year's event officially opens to the public at 10:00 am..
This year's square mural areas will be 5' x 5'. During the event, if space permits, we might make the larger areas available. Onsite registration may be available but cannot be guaranteed.
Should it appear that it might rain the weekend of our event, the event will not be canceled. Instead, the entire event will be moved to the International Agricenter at 4500 S. Laspina St., Tulare, CA 93274. If it looks like it will rain, our goal is to notify registrants approximately 3 days before our event (by Sept. 25).
All artists will be required to sign a release of liability form for the Tulare Outlet Center.
Artists will receive a free t-shirt for their participation at this year's event. Teams will receive up to (2) t-shirts total. If t-shirts are available after the event, they will be offered to team members who didn't receive one.
