Park Heroes... Southside Park, operated by the Greenville County Recreation District, desperately needs your help! Southside Park, home to Discovery Island, is one of Greenville County's most beloved parks; however, it is in need of an extreme makeover. Time has not been kind to the park but it's nothing that a few dump trucks of mulch can't help. We are looking for 40 volunteers on Saturday, November 10th from 9:00am - 12:00pm to show this park some mulch needed love.
Park Hero T-Shirts:
If you don't have your Park Hero T-Shirt, we will give you one on November 10th.
Greenville Rec Goodies:
Each volunteer will receive a Park Hero Buy One Get One Free coupon that can be used at one of Greenville Rec's waterparks, the Pavilion, or the Westside Aquatic Complex.
We will have donuts or bagels, or both on hand when you arive at 9:00am. Water will also be provided.
