The Water LA team is made up of dedicated, passionate individuals hard at work to foster a grassroots movement by engaging and supporting homeowners to implement Urban Acupuncture strategies and shift governmental policy in Los Angeles to realize climate resiliency.


FEATURED ARTIST 

KAREN ELAINE

 

Karen Elaine is an active part of the Hollywood studio music scene~ scores that she has played on include the recently released DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, season 1 as bass player in the house band for the Eric André Show, onstage and in the orchestra pit for the Academy Awards and Emmys, as well as literally thousands of television and phonograph projects. Her current creative passion is in combining her passion for music with her love of fitness and movement in yoga~ a project called AY-M (Acrobatic yoga & music), which captures the dancer as music source through partner yoga. Karen's musical offering for the "Farm-to-Table" supper will be a traditional Baroque dance music set by Johann Sebastian Bach and a fun set of Irish & Americana Bluegrass.

Your tax deductible dinner ticket purchase helps to support our summer internship program at Muir Ranch. 

Our goal is to offer fully paid internships to 30 students this Summer.

Each student will earn $600 for 8 weeks of work.

We hope to raise $18,000 to cover the cost of these internships.

Muir Ranch is a teen jobs program that looks like a school farm, CSA and culinary education program. We are on the campus of John Muir High School in NW Pasadena and we grow the very best basil, chard and of course, healthy kids!
