People of Color Beyond Faith is a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization founded by Black Skeptics Group and Black Freethinkers.

Description
Until racism and other social injustices are extinguished, non-whites are compelled to embrace means of unification to offer resistance and remedies. Racism, sexism, homophobia, classism and xenophobia deprive individuals of their human dignity. People of Color Beyond Faith is organized with a task to place social justice issues at the forefront of the secular community.

Currently, as we continue to witness turmoil in our society, the secular community is the most logical segment to offer lasting solutions to these social ills. Racism, poverty, homelessness, lack of healthcare, destruction of the environment, war and the threat of war, lack of quality education, mass incarceration, are all human conditions capable of human solutions. The philosophy of humanism seeks to create a society in which humans can thrive. It is in this spirit that we hope to form coalitions between religious humanists and secular humanists. Oh the joy when we can experience life with true liberty and the unfettered pursuit of happiness.

People of Color Beyond Faith (POCBF) will seek to develop within the secular community paths to better understanding of cultural differences and promote appreciation for those differences. POCBF will create opportunities for outreach into the communities across the country in which the entire secular community can actively participate. A foundation is being laid for a new secular movement that at its core values truth and strives for the betterment of all humanity.
