Come and join YWSE LA (Young Women Social Entrepreneurs Los Angeles) and LAMN (LA Microfinance Network) on Thursday, February 16th for a Movie Screening of:

Bonsai People – The Vision of Muhammad Yunus 

An award-winning film about Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus and his work confronting poverty with the concepts of microcredit and social business – and how these ideas are empowering women.

Thursday, 2/16 at 7pm
5240 Lankershim Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601 
General admission tickets are $11 and can be purchased directly from Laemmle's Noho 7 Theater.
PLEASE RSVP if you'd like to join YWSE LA and LAMN on the evening of Thursday, February 16th to see the film and then have dinner or drinks together at a nearby restaurant to discuss the film.  The film starts at 7pm.  
Please try to come by 6:45pm, so that we can get tickets and seats.

The Los Angeles Microfinance Network (LAMN) is a volunteer organization that brings together those current Microfinanciers and those eager to learn more about the concept in order to network with one another, learn more about the different facets of Microfinance, and ultimately work to bring Microfinance's core tenets back to our Los Angeles community.

YWSE-LA provides a supportive environment for entrepreneurial women in Los Angeles who are giving back to society through their businesses or other means. YWSE-LA holds seminars, workshops and events that help these women get to know each other and work towards their goals.
