Event Details

Don’t miss the 8th Brain Health Forum on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Carter Presidential Center.  This forum will bring together more than 300 attendees and exhibitors to draw on the latest trends and discoveries in Alzheimer’s prevention and research.  Despite the increase in emerging treatments and early detection, we still have challenges to overcome that will stop, slow or perhaps prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

This event is jointly supported by the Emory Center for Health in Aging and the Fulton Dekalb Hospital Authority. The forum, titled “Movement and Memory: A Prescription for Your Brain’s Healthwill provide participants with information about current progress with early detection and early interventions that affect our older adult community.  Hear from our Emory, VA and Mayo Clinic experts about the best strategies that support memory preservation.  The forum is open to the community and comprised of public health professionals, caregivers, and men and women who want to explore the latest standards of care that implement a multidisciplinary team approach for patients with cognitive decline.   To view slide presentations from the 7th Brain Health forum visit http://eepurl.com/TWkEb.

Seating is limited. Parking is free, lunch is provided and CEUs are available.

Finally, to make this educational event available at no cost to participants we are seeking your support.  To learn how you can help please contact Cornelya Dorbin at 404-712-1416.

Warm regards,

Emory Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center
