More than Memorizing:

The Secret Behind GMAT's Data Sufficiency Problems

Join MBA House NY at our SoHo location on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 8:30pm for our FREE "More than Memorizing: The Secret Behind GMAT's Data Sufficiency Problems" seminar.

Many test-takers assume that the quantitative section of the GMAT is designed purely to test the ability to memorize formulas. This is simply not true!  Instead, a large portion of the exam is dedicated to measuring a person's capacity to reason abstractly. The GMAT accomplishes this through a special question type called "Data Sufficiency" which fuses the concept of mathematical proof with the format of a multiple choice exam.  This seminar will go over the nuts and bolts of the Data Sufficiency question type, introduce the idea of mathematical proof, and provide basic preparation strategies.
