     8 - 9:15:  Moonlighting SF

With love,

The Loosies (All-female A Cappella)

We're the Loose Interpretations! We are an all-female a cappella group based in San Francisco that's been performing all over the Bay Area since 2004. We mostly sing arrangements of pop covers, though our repertoire spans several decades and musical genres...from Gershwin to Annie Lennox, Simon & Garfunkel to Madonna, Stevie Wonder to The Postal Service, and even a little Bon Jovi. (Yep, Bon Jovi. May he forgive us.)

Jules Posner (SF Sketchfest,,

Jules Posner is like if the cool older kid who used to buy you beer ended up becoming a comedian instead of a meth dealer. The most relaxed man in California, Jules mixes laid-back observations, laid-back riffing and laid-back flannel shirts into an act that has won him constant bookings at every major comedy club in the Bay Area. He is one of those comics whose writing and delivery make standup seem like it’s just a funny person talking off the top of their head, and reality isn’t far behind the illusion, his riffing pacing his written material in quality.

Jules has been featured on’s No Drink Minimum and’s Road Trip on Hulu. He has also performed at SF Sketchfest four years in a row and was named “not a poser” by Skateboard Magazine’s “are you a poser” quiz. When he’s not doing comedy, Jules enjoys keeping it real.

Bisi & Kevin Land

Self-described as Reggae/Funk/Soul/Jazz/R&B/World Music, Bisi Obateru and Joshua "Shua" Smith have combined forces to become the duo "Bisi & The Moonwalker". Their first project, "Dopamine", was written in 2012.

Sean Reichhold of goldengatexpress writes:

"They dance and sing with full commitment as they serenade their transient audience with their eclectic set comprised of sounds, from reggae and melodic hip-hop to distinct pop and blues influences. On a strangely bright day, this newly-born duo performs with a smile.

The soft timbre of their harmonious voices provide soulful, aural refreshment for the passers-by who dart across the neighborhood looking for a reprieve from the beaming sun. These dedicated street performers are not playing for a pittance. They are playing music for music’s sake."

Shakey Gibson (Little Minsky's)

Shakey has been performing for over a decade now and continues to reinvent the game, break the 4th wall and keep it “Klassy” (A vocalist with a splash of clown) Featured in variety/ burlesque shows such as Meow Mix, Bubbles on Fire, Red Hots Burlesque, Little Minsky’s, Under The Golden Gate and The Vau de Vire Society.

Shakey Gibson studied in New York, Houston and San Francisco. An actor, vocalist, poet, songwriter, musician, dancer, gender illusionist, celebrity impersonator, conceptual visual performance artist and event producer is a list of some of the talents to expect.

Just the Tip by Wells Day

Wells Day has appeal. He’s always 30 minutes from anywhere, the life of the pre-party, and the guy who always has something to say about something. He quips, imbibes, torts and retorts. Wells hails from nowhere in particular and grew to a very large stature at the early age of around that time. His idea of a perfect Thursday afternoon is sipping Suntory to the sounds of Patrick Swayze crooning about a woman riding the wind.

“Just the Tip” is a permanent fixture in “Moonlighting SF” and offers Wells a platform for irreverent discourse on the mayhem that ensues in this liberal bastion by the bay.

You know that old adage, “Alls Wells that ends Wells, with Just the Tip.” Never full insertion..

Your DJ and Co-Host, Duserock (San Francisco's Nitewise Top 10 DJ List)

Duserock  has been bringing heat to dance floors for almost two decades, opening for the likes of Sting and Sheryl Crow. His ability to blend genres and keep the crowd dancing have made him a popular DJ worldwide. He's shared bills with Photek, Marques Wyatt, Dubtribe, Gavin Hardkiss, Tal M Klein and many more. He was acknowledged in San Francisco's Nitewise 2010 Top 10 DJ list.

Aside from DJ'ing, Duserock has been spending more energy in the production realm. His roots stem from the dance act Drop Culture, an electronic based group which received praise from dance stalwarts Pete Tong and Groove Armada.  Realizing it was time to explore the depths of his personal creativity, Duserock has taken on the world of writing, remixing and is a founding member of electronics act EMDM and Sleeper Cell. | |

Your host, Joe Tobin (Independent Film Channel, SF Sketchfest)

Originally from Philadelphia, Joe has become a regular in Bay Area comedy clubs, and he has been fortunate to work with such great comedians as Dave Chappelle, Jake Johannsen, Doug Benson, and Zach Galifiankis, to name a few. (Joe Montana once shook his hand and said, “good job.” This may have been the highlight of his career.)

An East Coast personality trapped in a West Cost lifestyle, Joe’s standup has been featured on the Independent Film Channel, the SF Sketchfest, and he also blogs (mostly about sports) at
