Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Free Pass
Monday, March 21, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
On Monday, March 21st, the Palace Theatre in Albany NY will be host to a screening of
Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
1975, 91 minutes, Rated PG
From its opening multi-language titles to the closing arrest of the entire Dark Ages cast by modern-day bobbies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail helped to define "irreverence" and became an instant cult classic. In this, their first "proper" feature film, Python savages the legend of King Arthur, juxtaposing some excellently selected exterior locations with an unending stream of anachronistic one-liners, non sequiturs, and slapstick set pieces. Truly a comedy of epic proportions!
We at Enable Labs, a web-application developer based in Troy, NY are very enthusiastic fans of both Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Palace Theathre's Classic Movie Series. As such, Enable Labs wants to share our enthusiasm with the community through a give-a-way of free tickets.
To attend the screening for free, register for the event here at EventBrite and bring your EventBrite ticket on the night of the event.
The Palace Theatre is quite a large theatre and Enable Labs is prepared to host a great many people for this event. As such, we encourage you to pass this on to all your friends.
This EventBrite event is strictly for a free pass to the movie. The Times Union is also promoting an EventBrite event around the same movie. Their event includes:
- pre-movie appetizers
- costume contest
- after-movie party at Taste
The Times Union's event is also a free event, but does not include the ticket, so register for the ticket with us and then go register for their event as well. To register for the TU's event, go to:
