Montessori Inspired Art Camp
Monday, August 18, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Dr. Steve Hughes, a pediatric neuroscientist recently gave a speech that details how montessori education "builds a better brain." In this class we will utilize techniques from Maria Montessori to provide your child with experimental interactions and structured choices so that they get the most from their time in the art studio.
Your child will be introduced to a variety of media and techniques and given time to truly delve into their own projects.
The instructor of this class has attended conferences on this method at both national and state level, and is excited to bring a new type of art education to studios here in Austin!
