Monster Mash for ALS
Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (PDT)
Athletic Evolution invites people from all over Massachusetts to join us for a Halloween inspired flash mob to raise money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The Athletic Evolution family felt a blow when our friend, Pete Frates, former Boston College baseball all-star, was diagnosed with the disease that would ultimately deteriorate his body. Frates was once a Division 1 athlete. Now, at the age of 27, Pete can barely throw a baseball.
In his honor, we've decided to do something that we hope will raise awareness of the debilitating disease and we hope you'll grab your dancing shoes and join in!
Schedule of events:
11 am to 12 pm - practice
12 pm to 12:30 pm - videotapped performance
12:30 pm to 1 pm - Tricks and Treats
