Mondays at Racine is a powerful documentary about a Long Island hair salon that closes its doors to the public and offers free beauty services once a month for women battling breast cancer. The salon offers them a chance to feel beautiful as they undergo chemotherapy, and also gain strength and a chance to reflect in this safe space. The film reveals the beauty born of the love and support found in community in times of personal pain and fear.
