Moms + Tweens + Social Good
Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT)
Mclean, United States
This event is designed for moms and their tweens (ages 8-12).
Agenda for the morning:
While we know that there are many mature 7 year old out there, for space and activity purposes, we request that only 8-12 year old tweens attend the event.
The event will be live-streamed so that other children and ages can participate virtually.
The event fee for attendees will be used to help cover costs of the event. ANY and ALL remaining monies will be donated to Shot@Life, (http://www.shotatlife.org).
Special thanks to the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner for hosting the event.

Moms+Tweens+SocialGood is only one day away!
As the big day approaches and the finishing touches are put on activities and the agenda I just wanted to share a few updates.
Remember that breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:15 during which I will also invite everyone to brainstorm ideas and do some personal reflection to help us get started.
A Grow Global Citizens Toolkit will be shared digitally with everyone with lists of resources shared during the morning.
Waivers for video and photography will be available at registration for you to sign.
Leticia Barr of Tech Savvy Mama, and one of our speakers tomorrow wrote an article about the event that you might be interested in.
Please follow Grow Global Citizens on Facebook
We will be using both the #GrowGlobalCitizens AND #SocialGood hashtags during the morning
