Module III - Basic Tongs
Monday, March 10, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This module is made up of four, three hour long classes that take place once per week for four weeks.
Week 1- Flat Pickup Tongs
Week 2 - Box Jaw Tongs ¾”
Week 3 - Square Bit Tongs ½”
Week 4 - Edge Tongs 1”x ¼”
Tongs can be quite an undertaking and may require additional open workshop sessions. The drawing down of the reins will sap your strength if you work alone. We will combat this by working with a trusted shop mate, smith and striker style, this will build your strength and teach you what it means to work together for a common goal.
This class is a prerequisite to Module III - Basic Tongs
