AppCircus is a global travelling showcase for innovative apps that brings together the global community of developer entrepreneurs and start-ups. In only three years, AppCircus has organized more than 100 events in over thirty countries, building a community with over 20,000 users. AppCircus events give visibility to new app talent on a local and global scale. With its unique online incubation platform called Hack-at-Home, AppCircus connects app makers with business opportunities and helps them build innovative high quality apps.
AppCircus is not only an exposition of cool apps, but also creates the best atmosphere to enlarge your networks. If you can come to out Uganda AppCircus you will be where it's at! You should prepare yourself to witness the amazing creators of up to ten shortlisted products, each of whom will present a three-minute elevator pitch to a panel of jurors on the stage.
The winning app will receive a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards during the Mobile World Congress in Barcleona 2014. And from this pool of nominated apps twenty will make it to the big stage in Barcelona! And many of you will remember that Uganda's Christine Ampaire not only made it to the top twenty, but brought home second prize with her team's Mafuta Go. We are also glad to announce the return of eminent Ringmaster Simon Kaheru, by which we can assure you that a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
