GUN marks the directorial debut of New York based Spencer Gillis who is a professional camera asst/operator with experience spanning more than 20 feature films – including SHAME, BLUE VALENTINE and ARBITRAGE – in addition to work in documentary, episodic television, commercial and web content. He recently finished his second feature script titled CONSTANCE.

H.F. Crum was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and spent much of his youth across the river in Juarez, Mexico. A Mellon Writing Grant led him to film school at USC, and later to writing/directing low-budget features for Roger Corman. Before movies, H.F. did health and development work in Cuba, Mexico and Costa Rica.

Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival

The 28th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival runs Oct 18 - November 11, 2013 in Ft Lauderdale, Hollywood, Sunrise, Pompano Beach and on Grand Bahama Island.  The fest moves to Saint Augustine January 16 - 19, 2014.  There are over 200 films plus a galaxy of parties, cruises, and special events.  Special guests include Ann-Margret, Ed Asner, Tab Hunter, Anna Paquin, Lea Thompson, Aphrodite Jones, Guy Harvey, Jonathan Bird, Pauly Cohen, William Grefe, Jonas Armstrong, Hannah Tointon and Michael Bolton.   FLIFF is the Guiness World Record holder for longest in the world.
