Event Details

Please join the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, (WAWA) by donating items to our Winter Clothing Drive.  All items will be donated to a local charity.

Please help provide comfort and warmth to those in need during the winter season by donating CLEAN, new or gently used winter clothing.

• blankets - sleeping bags - coats - sweaters - hats - gloves - scarves - socks – winter footwear

• • baby items -- school supplies -- toiletries -- can goods -- Accepted

• • • Please -- NO summer clothing --NO items needing repair – NO items needing laundry

• Also needed are cardboard boxes, laundry baskets, large plastic bags and sturdy hangers.

• If you need a receipt for your donation please take your items directly to your local charity.

West Atlanta Watershed Alliance

West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) is a environmental justice stewardship and advocacy organization. Our mission is to improve the quality of life within the adopted watersheds of Proctor, Sandy and Utoy Creeks by protecting, preserving, and restoring our community's natural resources. WAWA is a non-profit organization that has 15 years of momentum behind its community interactions. We are a largely African American organization whose members predominantly reside in, and have organized to address critical wastewater policy concerns within West Atlanta.
