Since its inception as one of the largest university-wide India conferences in the United States, the MIT India conference has drawn thousands of attendees, including distinguished academics, professionals, and students. The purpose of this event is to facilitate a meaningful dialogue that offers insights into tackling the challenges and opportunities facing India.
The conference will include keynote speeches, panel discussions and a showcase to mark the end of the conference. Given below are tentative topics for some interesting panel discussions that have been planned for the conference:
1. Healthcare panel - Scalable innovation in healthcare
2. Education panel - Impact of Right to Education (RTE) on India
3. Entrepreneurship panel - Scaling a start-up to a large enterprise
The annual MIT-India Conference is a joint initiative of the MIT Schools of Science, Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Humanities and Social Sciences and Management. As a part of the broader MIT India Initiative, the conference aims to celebrate the existing partnerships between MIT and India, as well as discuss future collaborations between the two that could help accelerate innovation into the future.
