Missouri Energy Initiative

The Missouri Energy Initiative (MEI), is a 501(c)(3) designed to encourage creative collaborations, promote affordable, reliable and sustainable energy projects, and serve as an independent "public policy group" on emerging energy issues. MEI is focused on becoming an honest broker of energy information for Missouri and the Midwest through hard work and a board of Missouri’s energy experts and leaders. MEI will develop interactive and collaborative public/private sector partnerships and engage Missourians in energy education, science, technology and policy activities. MEI is not working to promote a single source of energy, nor are we working only on electricity generation. Energy issues cross many boundaries and our board members are committed to promoting a better understanding of all energy sources, their impact on Missouri businesses and citizens. We do this with the understanding that there is no silver bullet…success will take a silver buck shot approach.
