Please join us on Saturday, January 26 as the Young Professional Board of Mission: Restore celebrates the Foundation’s success in bringing much needed medical aid to the far reaches of the world. From 10 PM to 2 AM, Mission: Restore's Young Professional Board will be hosting a charity event at the Bowery Hotel. Guests will enjoy an open bar, live music, and most importantly a great time for an incredible cause. The party will kick off with music performed by Rizzo’s Dilemma and will conclude with DJ Matt Winter. There will also be photo booth provided by PhotoBooth Lounge and a silent auction with a wide range of offerings that you won’t want to miss!
Mission: Restore is a non-profit organization that delivers state of the art reconstructive surgical care to underserved patients in emerging nations. Mission: Restore not only raises money for these reconstructive surgeries, but also trains foreign doctors to perform these procedures. Last month, Mission: Restore Chairperson Dr. Kaveh Alizadeh successfully operated on a young Afghan girl, the victim of a shooting in the face by the Taliban. Dr. Alizadeh is also working with a doctor in Afghanistan to help treat other victims of violence. This month, our volunteer doctors will travel to El Salvador to establish a partnership with a local hospital. Missions to Haiti and Burma are also being arranged. Our goal is to eliminate the need to import doctors to perform the surgeries. We are looking at the bigger picture to help the world’s forgotten patients.
Mission: Restore strives to help the innocent children caught in the crossfire of combat and trauma, and you can help too.
