We are a Berkeley-Albany Girl Scout troop and we are putting on an advertisement rewriting campaign to show that women are not represented approprietly in the media. We believe that it is not okay to objectify women and that all women - every type of woman - needs to be shown in media. Women are more than just an easy way to advertise clothes and we need to voice our opinions and have them be heard. Please join us in April to tell the media that we're not buying it!
