Background on the Awards:
The Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans (TOYM) program is Minnesota’s only statewide recognition program for outstanding young leaders. The program acknowledges the efforts of young leaders that have contributed to our state through their service, thought/influence, community involvement, or entrepreneurship.

The Minnesota Jaycees Outstanding Young Farmer (OYF) program has been recognizing the importance of strong young leaders in our agricultural industry since 1954. The program recognizes the accomplishments of young farmers in the progress of their career, their use of soil and water conservation practices, and their contributions to the well-being of their community.

Background on the Event:
This is an inspiring evening showcasing the leadership, journeys, and impact of a group of our most outstanding young Minnesotans. The Honoree Banquet will be held Saturday, December 3. TOYM/OYF is being held AFTER MN Jaycee Leadership Academy (JCLA) which is held earlier that day. Seating for dinner begins at 6:30 with the program beginning at 7:30. Recommended attire is formal/ cocktail.
Parking- Signage will be posted. Free parking is available.
Accommodations- Rooms block is located at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis - North (it is attached to the Earle Brown Heritage Center). Background on Jaycee Leadership Academy (daytime event for Jaycees)
Jaycees interested in learning more about attending JCLA (local officer/member training) should visit http://mnjaycees.org/learn/conventions-events/leadership-academy. JCLA is an opportunity for incoming local Jaycee chapter officers to learn more about the skills it takes run their chapter effectively- everything from group dynamics, management topics, leadership skills, to managing the chapter's budget.
