Want to learn more about targeting and non-deal roadshows? Whether you’re new to IR or a seasoned IRO, join us for this half-day deep dive into two of IR’s most important outreach avenues. You’ll learn more about best practices, logistics, potential challenges and how to avoid them. We’ll start with a session on targeting, where you’ll get tips on how to get the most out of this valuable IR tool. We’ll then “get on the road” – discussing how to effectively get your management team in front of the Street, both in and outside the U.S. Plus, network and share ideas with others from the IR community. Be sure to join us for what promises to be an engaging, insightful morning.

Elizabeth R. Allen, CFA
Manager, Investor Relations, FedEx Corporation

Elizabeth Allen joined FedEx in 1990 and held positions in the treasury department before moving to investor relations in 1997. Before joining FedEx, Allen was vice president, equity research at Morgan Keegan, a regional brokerage firm, and earlier worked for Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta. A native of Pensacola, Fla., Allen earned her bachelor's degree from Auburn University and her master's degree in Finance from Georgia State University. She is a chartered financial analyst.

Douglas A. Fox, CFA
Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer, Zebra Technologies Corporation
Douglas Fox joined Zebra in 1998 as manager of investor relations. He was previously with Universal Foods Corporation, where he directed investor relations, and with SM Berger & Co., a Cleveland-based investor relations consulting firm. Fox began his career as a sell-side equity analyst with Cleveland-based McDonald & Company Securities. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Clark University, Worcester, Mass., and a master's degree in economics from Ohio State University, Columbus. He is a chartered financial analyst.

Nancy A. Hobor
Lecturer, Integrated Marketing Communications, Northwestern University
Nancy Hobor currently is a lecturer in Northwestern's integrated marketing communications program. She retired in 2010 as senior vice president, communications and investor relations from W. W. Grainger. Hobor had been responsible for Grainger's internal and external communications, community relations and investor relations since 1999. Previously, she was vice president of corporate communications and investor relations for Morton International; director of investor relations for United Airlines; VP of strategic communications for Baxter Healthcare Corp.; and VP of public relations for American Hospital Supply Corp. She holds undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago, as well as an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
