Event Details

Eating is an essential part of every day, but for many, mealtime is filled with a sense of dread, guilt, and regret. You know what and how you should eat, but for some reason when stress, boredom, or loneliness strikes, what you feed yourself becomes a free for all. And so starts a cycle of deprivation, dieting, binging, and/or plain old unhappiness when it comes to food and body image. Join health coach, wellness expert, and natural foods chef Amanda Skrip to increase mindful practices around eating to help you find joy at mealtime again.

You will learn to:

+ Break mindless and emotional eating patterns
+ Tune in to what your body is really craving – and nourish yourself naturally
+ Prevent mindless eating before it starts
+ Find self-worth from places other than your diet
+ Start over [without guilt] if you fall off track

Amanda Skrip

Amanda is a natural foods educator, chef, health coach, and wellness expert. Amanda received her culinary training at the Natural Gourmet Institute and continued her nutrition education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. After working in kitchens in New York City, Amanda relocated to Chicago and began to share her passion for natural foods and healthy lifestyle with her private cooking and coaching clients.

She believes that a healthy lifestyle is about balance, and encourages her clients to consume plant-based foods and seasonally vibrant produce. Amanda works with clients to create small shifts that have a big impact on health, weight and energy.
