Several organizations are coming together for a common goal to provide an evening of free information, resource materials, and community dialogue on addiction in our communities. This event will take place at the King Arts Complex, in the Pythian Theater at 5:00pm. In addition to a presentation by a licensed professional and open dialogue, the evening culminates in a night of music by high achieving female artist, Ohio’s own Jazzy Soul Queen, Dr. E.
Dr. E is a scholar, educator, author as well as a performing musical artist, with a compelling story of addiction, sexual exploitation, education and self-recovery that she is passionate about sharing with the community through her scholarship but also through her creative storytelling and music. Dr. E is also Professor of Literacy Studies, in the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University.
The first 50 people to register for the community dialogue will receive VIP tickets for the concert at $5.00. General admission tickets are $10.00. For more information call 216-236-3621.
