We present our Fall New Music Night with two of's New York's own.
STIX BONES is a NY based drummer, producer, Music Director and composer. He performs regularly across New York City: The Paradise Theater, Houndstooth Pub, The Sugar Bar, Metropolitan Room, and many more.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance from SUNY Purchase and started his career touring with Rahzel (The Roots), and later with De La Soul, Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest) and Doug E Fresh.
Stix released his debut Jazz album "Groove Like This". The album received airplay at 40+ US radio stations including DJ Rafe Gomez of the Groove Boutique (CD 101.9) Stix added a contribution to Matt Marshak’s 2010 album “Family Funktion” with the hit “Gas Lamp Groove” and “Harlem River Drive” on “Urban Folktales“.
MATT BEILIS is a NY singer/songwriter/piano player who as emerged on the scene with his 2010 debut CD "Can't Help But Wonder". Matt is currently headlining a country wide club and college tour, and performs regularly across NYC including shows at Sullivan Hall, National Underground, the Canal Room and the Bitter End to name a few.
An incredible performer, Matt has shared the stage and recorded with a wide variety of artists: Smokey Robinson, Secondhand Serenade, Javier Colon ("TV's The Voice"), Teddy Geiger, Marcus Anderson. He was one of only a handful of artists ever to be invited to headline the pre-game show at Citi Field twice.
Matt has become a bona fide star on You Tube His YouTube videos have garnered thousands of subscribers and millions of views and have even been recognized by stars such as Bruno Mars and Ashton Kutcher.
