Event Details

This month's feast is different in so many ways. First of all, we're moving the feast outdoors! To a backyard in Bedford-Stuyvesant. And this month's menu highlights a variety of Persian and Georgian grilled meats, including classic marinated shish kebab, and a pair of Georgian sauces. 

Fear not! There will be plenty of vegetables to accompany the smoky skewers. And chilled sweets to end the night!

Badridzhanie Mtsvanilit (Herbed Eggplant Salad, Georgian)

Basturma of Lamb (Marinated in pomegranate juice, Georgian)

Venue: Since this event is taking place at a private residence, you will receive the address of the location after purchasing your tickets.

Note on menu: Proposed menu is subject to change based on market availability.

Drinks: Diners are welcome and encouraged to bring beer and/or wine for themselves or to share. We are happy to accommodate anything that needs to be chilled.

Salt & Pomegranates

Salt & Pomegranates is a series of (mostly) vegetarian feasts prepared by Marina Berger, a personal chef based in Manhattan. Marina draws on inspiration from culinary traditions spanning the Caucasus Region and the Middle East. In the spirit of home and hospitality, dinners are served family style and you are encouraged to bring your own beer and wine.


3B: The Downtown Brooklyn Bed & Breakfast is a boutique bed and breakfast. The brainchild of a living cooperative, it is truly a gem in the heart of Brooklyn.
