With the Spring just around the corner, this time of the year is perfect for exploring and photographing all areas of Central Park. Central Park is so large that we have divided up the park into three walking tours: North Central Park, Mid-Central Park and South Central Park – each photography tour offering different highlights to photograph. For this Mid-Central Park Photography Walking Tour, Dawn will be hitting the following highlights:
1. The Delacorte Theater
2. Turtle Pond
3. Belvedere Castle
4. The Ramble
5. The Lake
6. Loeb Boat House
7. Strawberry Fields
About the Guide:
Dawn Wayand, a native Floridian who moved to NYC in March of 2011, has not only had quite a successful streak in getting her name, art and photography recognized in FL and now NYC but has also had pieces purchased and placed in homes and offices across the states. Although her main focus is photography, she also dabbles in other art forms such as painting and drawing. She sold over 150 pieces of photography within her first year of sales, along with many paintings, has exhibited in many different types of venues, has been a photography judge, and now continues to exhibit, sell and curate in NYC.
