The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is proud to present its second annual One City, One Symphony initiative, this time exploring themes of love, fate and redemption in Symphony No. 4 by Tchaikovsky, and Davide penitente, a beautiful work based on the Psalms of David by Tchaikovsky’s musical idol, Mozart. Join us as we (re)discover these masterpieces together as a community, building upon our understanding of the music through a remarkable shared experience.

  • Enjoy a guided discussion of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 presented by artistic staff from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, in preparation for the CSO's performance of the piece on November 14 & 16 at Music Hall
  • Listening Party is free and open to the public, though reservations through Eventbrite are encouraged as space is limited
  • Listening Party will last 1-1.5hrs
  • Listening Parties are not concerts, though pre-recorded excerpts of the music may be played
