We are fast fans of Tenaya Darlington, the Philadelphia author, professor & “cheese courtesan” who explores curd-tastic foods on her witty & informative blog, Madame Fromage. She also recently penned a guide to cheese pairings and inside ‘monger knowledge covering 170 artisan cheeses in DiBruno Brothers’ new cheese bible, House of Cheese: A Guide to Wedges, Recipes, and Pairings.
And now, this local cheese ambassador will be debuting Madame Fromage’s Traveling Cheese School with three cheese classes in Metropolitan Cafe featuring a selection of local, small batch cheeses from our Rittenhouse shop! Here's the scoop:
Wedges & Beer -- September 30th, 7-9pm -- $35
Wedges & Wine -- October 7th, 7-9pm -- $35 (SOLD OUT)
Taste with Sue Miller, Cheesemaker at Birchrun Hills Farm -- October 21st, 7-9pm -- $35
