It is with great joy that we present the everlasting myths that create Metamorphoses. The Roman poet Ovid wrote Metamorphoses in 8 CE and Mary Zimmerman adapted these stories for her play in 1996. Zimmerman has succeeded in weaving these ancient myths with a contemporary energy, creating the perfect script for high school students to sink their teeth into. Ovid’s myths are about being aware of the choices we make and the relationships we nurture and those we neglect. The myths are clues to our creative potential and we look forward to sharing them with you.
