Share Meridian Hill Park, National Park and Neighborhood Oasis

Event Details

Tour repeats on Saturday, September 20, 2-4pm.

Learn about the history and significance of Meridian Hill Park while exploring the park itself. The tour will cover history of the park land, neighborhood, park statues, and significance of the park's design. Tour will take place outside only. 

Special instructions: Please note that Meridian Hill Park is undergoing long-term renovations and is adjacent to 16th Street. For those who are noise-sensitive, this may not be appropriate as there may be additional noise during the duration of the tour. 

Meet at Northwest Park Entrance, 16th and Euclid Sts., NW.

End at Southwest Park Entrance, 16th and W Sts., NW.

Metro Start: U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo

Metro End: U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo

Fitness: Moderate, 1 mile

Wheelchair accessible: No
