“Menhaden: The Most Important Fish in the Bay” (27 minutes) Explore the far-reaching impact of menhaden through the eyes of the men who love this stinky, oily fish for what it contributes to their livelihood, to their heritage, and to the health of Chesapeake Bay. Spend time on the Bay with charter boat captain Billy Pipkin, and meet pound netter Walter Rogers, crabber James Eskridge and conservationist Bill Goldsborough who provide their perspectives on the sustainability of this vulnerable fish and its connection to the future of Chesapeake Bay. Filmmaker Sarah Gulick will join us!
