Calling all Slow Food Park City members! (Note: If you received this newsletter - you're a member!) Our annual membership roundup is just around the corner. We have partnered with another fabulous local restaurant that shares our value of celebrating and promoting the pleasures of locally and sustainably grown food.
The schedule of events will look something like this:
4:00 to 4:30 - Social time; get to know other Slow Fooders and if you like, enjoy a beverage from the cash bar.
4:00 and 4:15 - Tours of the distillery; this is limited to 12 people per tour, and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Arrive early!
4:30 - 5:15 - Annual meeting of the Slow Food Park City chapter. We'll elect officers, talk about upcoming events, and break into smaller groups to get your input about next year's activities.
5:15 - 6:00 - Presentation by High West Distillery, including a cheese and whiskey tasting; local cheeses will be featured along with award-winning spirits.
We will adjourn at 6:00, but plan to stick around. It's Whiskey Wednesday at High West and you can enjoy live music while you dine on burgers paired with whiskey. (Note: This is on your dime; it's not included as part of the event fee.)
