Members’ Day-trip and Private Tour | Ringwood Manor

Join us for a special private tour of Ringwood Manor, the former summer home of Peter Cooper, Abram S. Hewitt and his family. When the manor was turned into a museum in 1938, the Hewitt family donated not just the grounds but also an extensive collection of decorative arts objects that are still installed in the home today.
This visit includes lunch on the grounds of Ringwood Manor as well as a tour of the interior of the historic Victorian home and its permanent collection.
Schedule: Tuesday, June 10
- 11:00 a.m. Depart from Cooper-Hewitt
- 12:00 p.m. Lunch at Ringwood Manor
- 1:00 p.m. Tour of Ringwood Manor*
- 3:00 p.m. Depart from Ringwood Manor
- 4:00 p.m. Return to Cooper-Hewitt
*The first floor of the home is wheelchair accessible, the second floor of this historic property is not ADA compliant.
This event is open to Contributing, Design Watch, Patron, and National Design Council Members, and invited guests. The event fee is $75 per attendee. Transportation is provided by Cooper-Hewitt.
