"The Mail Must go Through"
Come cheer the hero (yay!) and despise the villain (boooo!) in a story of the Pony Express, one brave hero, one delicate heroine, two bumbling villains, a distracted sherriff, a German dairy farmer, a big box developer and a dead guy. This will sell out, so buy your tickets soon.
Burgers, chips and soft drinks for sale by the Carson Valley Lions Club.
What You Need to Know: All ages need a ticket. All performances take place on a grassy lawn with impressive views of Jobs Peak and the Carson Range. You're encouraged to bring your favorite lawn chair (you'll be more comfortable with that than with anything we could provide, anyway). Pop-up shades are welcome.
Soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Or, you can bring your favorite beverage and a picnic (cooking at the park is discouraged). The park is a Douglas County facility and is subject to all applicable rules and regulations. Please, no glass containers.
Pets are strictly prohibited. Service animals with valid certifications are the only exception.
Please car pool. Gate opens at 4:00 pm. Entry by foot or bicycle is discouraged. Be aware that the entry road is unpaved and crosses a cattle pasture. The speed limit is: SLOW. Please be patient with yourself and others, because everyone and every car move at different speeds.
Refunds are given only if the performance is canceled due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstance.
This event is organized by the Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. A sincere "thanks!" or your support of this effort to care for the park. More information on how you can help is at dangberghomeranch.org/Membership.html.
